Solihull Choir Festival

Katie is the lead producer for Solihull Choir Festival. A yearly event in the heart of Solihull.

The Solihull Choir Festival is an inclusive, non-competitive event that brings together choirs of all sizes, styles, and backgrounds to perform in the heart of Solihull. More than just a stage for music, it's a platform for connection, offering choir leaders and musical directors the chance to promote their ensembles, share ideas, and grow their networks.

In 2025, The choir festival welcomed 15 schools and 25 choirs to the stage, showcasing a rich variety of styles from pop, gospel, and musical theatre to church music and Makaton-led performances. In total, 1,268 singers, aged 8 to 82, brought Touchwoods' Theatre Square to life, filling the space with joy and energy. This was accompanied by a workshop programme with nearly 300 people taking part in free workshops in A Capella, Improvising Harmony, Confidence Building and more.

Over 3,000 audience members joined us across the weekend, with an additional 43 choir leaders, joining us for an evening networking event, helping to grow and strengthen the local choral community.

This event was made possible through fundraising efforts that amounted to over £22,000 in sponsorships from local businesses.
