Festival of Creativity
The Festival of Creativity was a joyful, three-day celebration of arts and culture, designed for, by and with children and young people across North Lincolnshire. Taking place from 2nd–4th July 2021, the festival offered a vibrant mix of music, dance, literature, and visual arts - all aimed at helping young people discover their creativity and #FindYourSpark.
Katie worked as Assistant Producer alongside lead producer Amy Dalton-Hardy, supporting the planning and delivery of festival activity across multiple venues and platforms. Her role included liaising with artists and partners, coordinating logistics, and helping to ensure that young voices were centred throughout the programme.
The festival also featured the Power of Words event - a large-scale literacy celebration promoting reading for pleasure and improving access to books and storytelling. With appearances from award-winning authors, illustrators, poets and performers, it was a key highlight of the weekend and a true celebration of language and imagination.
Led by ArtLincs, North Lincolnshire’s Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP), and supported by Arts Council England and a wide network of regional partners, the Festival of Creativity brought together schools, families, cultural organisations and communities to spark inspiration and creativity in the next generation.
