Solihull Cultural Education Partnership (CEP)
Katie is Solihull CEPs Development Coordinator, managing a range of projects to support children and young people to access arts and cultural opportunities, including through schools programmes, festivals, gallery exhibitions and an annual creative careers conference.
Culture Solihull (Solihull MBC)
Solihull Culture works to increase engagement in arts and culture borough wide by developing opportunities for residents to take part in arts activity and support the development of the creative and cultural work force. As Producer, Katie has been developing and delivering a range of projects, including Fresh Air Theatre (Outdoor Theatre festival), Surreal Solihull (Public Art commissions and exhibition), and a community artist in residence programme.
Mercurial Dance: EmbodyXR
EmbodyXR is an immersive, dance art game that uses physical movement and digital storytelling to reduce the impact of anxiety in young people. Katie has been working as Producer on this VR project to deliver a midlands tour across libraries and community settings.
Dance Leaders Group
Formerly Dance Development Leaders Group (DDLG), The DLG is a network of over 80 dance participation professionals from across the Midlands. Katie began as Senior Ambassador for the Worcestershire and Herefordshire sub-regional hub, progressing on to project manage their multi-stranded 'DLG & Critical Mass What Next?' programme. Katie currently works as Marketing & Communications officer for the wider DLG.
